P.O.U.R. Bible Study Method

I am so excited that you want to take your quiet time to the next level. My prayer is that my new study method will cultivate a hunger; a craving for God that doesn't end, because you will want to remain in His truths and in His promises.

The P.O.U.R. Study Method was created to encourage the encourager. We spend so much of time pouring into the lives of others..who is pouring into your life? Ministering to our fellow hurting brethren can be draining. Jesus tells us in Matthew 11:28, "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest."

Rest. And let Jesus P.O.U.R. back into you.

P - The P stands for PASSAGE. Write down the bible passage that stood out to you. Which scripture really ministered to your heart?

O - The O stands for OBSERVATION. What is happening in this passage? Who is this passage about?

U - The U stands for USE. - How can I use this passage to better my life and my walk with God?

R - The R stands for RESPOND - Now let's respond to the passage. Speak to God directly about what is on your mind and heart. Ask God to help you live out what you've uncovered in this verse/s.
